About From The Heart Quilts

Since 2011, From The Heart Quilts has been creating unique quilts and pillowcases to give to those in need, spreading comfort and joy throughout Iowa and nearby. We work with facilities, shelters, organizations, communities, and individuals to understand their needs and provide quilts at no cost to the recipients. We use quality cotton fabric whenever possible, as we believe everyone deserves to have a long-lasting heirloom-worthy quilt.

Giving Love & Warmth

Our shared passion for quilting inspires us, and we love extending the warmth of our talents to others beyond our immediate families. This collective effort not only enriches our love for quilting but also spreads the spirit of compassion and creativity to those in need.

We listen to our partner organizations to make the biggest impact in the lives of the recipients of our quilts. Most facilities we provide to prefer Twin-size, which we create a pillowcase to go with each. We also make smaller Throw-size quilts that are designed for kids.

We are a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit with all labor being donated time, thanks to our incredible volunteers. We collaborate with talented quilters to create works of art that bring comfort and joy. All monetary donations are used to purchase fabric and materials needed to finish quilts.
